Had a fantastic trip with my friends! We enjoyed the riverside garden and the beautiful decor. The food was top-notch, and we even visited a nearby historical site and local market. Make sure to sit in the lounge area. it's super comfy. a great escape and I can't wait to come back!
One slight letdown was the sewer smell in the first room. however, management quickly addressed this. Just a heads up !

centuries old bridge, riverside setting, historic ambiance
Noisy road outside the room, inconvenient table placement in the restaurant!!! It would be wiser to consider guest requests more attentively!!!

Superb stay with fab food!
Had a lovely stay here! Food was delish, especially the lentil lasagna. The halloumi burger was a bit much, but still tasty. Staff were super friendly and the vibe was just chill. Only bummer was the garlic bread might've been overkill with the sides. Def would recommend the bar for nice cocktails.

fantastic stay but minor room lighting issue
The double room exceeded my expectations with its cleanliness and modern amenities. The play area in the garden made my son very happy.
The room could benefit from brighter lighting.

A Hidden Gem with Unforgettable Flavors
Our stay was delightful! The charm of the riverside location made lazy afternoons unforgettable. Dinner was a highlight, with each dish bursting with flavor. Don’t miss the pizza—perfectly baked with fresh ingredients! For a truly relaxing experience, ask for a room away from the main road.

I felt completely enchanted by the peaceful atmosphere and enjoyed the beautiful beer garden right next to the river, where I could easily unwind after a day of exploring nearby attractions like Downton Castle, just over 4 km away, and the stunning Wigmore Castle, only around 5 km from my stay.

I had a small double room, and while it wasn't the biggest, it was nicely decorated and spotlessly clean. The blackout curtains were a lifesaver for a good night's sleep. Just enough comfort for my solo trip. Can't complain at all.
